  Bad experience with the the 700r4 I bought from Bow-Tie Overdrive. I followed Bow-Tie's install instructions to the letter. On the first test drive I knew something was wrong. There was no up-shifting. I ended up taking the car to a local shop because not only would I have to remove the transmission for shipping but I would have to pay for the shipping to and from Bow-Tie, even if it was an obvious warranty issue (which it was). The local shop removed the pan then removed the valve body. The valve body looked like it had been sitting outside in a junk pile. It was very pitted & rusted. Yes rust. How often do you see rust on internal transmission parts! Especially from one that was supposedly just custom built for me. Buyer beware. Chris and the owner would not help with the cost of repair at all. They wouldn't even return my calls after awhile. What I asked for and expected was very fair.
  
  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Stay local with a reputable shop.
